Orlando Lawyer Going Against Evenflo for the Faulty Discover Car Seats!

Orlando Lawyer
One of the Orlando lawyers of the law firm of Wooten, Honeywell, Kimbrough, Gibson, Doherty & Normand is representing a family who believes the recent recall of the Evenflo Discovery car seats is not sufficient enough.

The new voluntary recall of the Evenflo Discovery car seats was only announced on February 8th. Evenflo has recalled over one million car seats that were manufactured from 2005 through 2008.

One north Florida family hired the Orlando lawyer to file a claim against the company after their child was injured in the same car seat, but it was manufactured in the year 2000. The north Florida family believes that the recall should go well beyond the 2005 manufacture date.

Wondering exactly is a Lawyer Salary?

Lawyer Salary

When considering just what a lawyer salary is or could be there are a few different variables that need to be considered. First variable is the length of time in which you have been a lawyer. This greatly affects your bottom line. The longer you practice, the more money you make. If you are just graduating from law school, then you can expect to roughly make just under $60K a year.

From the first through fourth years of practicing, you can expect your salary to be close to $65K. During your fifth through your ninth year, it goes up to about $85K, and after 20 years you are around $120K per year.

Other factors that will determine your salary will be the type of law you practice as well as where the law firm is located. A lawyer in New York or California can expect to make more than a lawyer in Iowa!

There are Many Different Types of Lawyers

types of lawyers

There many different types of lawyers just like there are many different types of Doctors. In today's world of specialization lawyers are probably one of the more specialized career fields.

Unlike Doctors who specialize in maybe the foot, they know every aspect of the foot. Lawyers break it down even further almost like instead of specializing in feet you specialize in toes or many just one toe. For a good example, think of injury as the foot then you have automobile injury, workers comp. Injury, personal injury and the list goes on, which make up the "toes."

For the best possible legal service you should find a lawyer, which only specializes in the area of law affecting you. Try to stay away from the "one shop does it all" type of lawyers. I am currently studying law and you can study one aspect of the law your whole life and never master it so general counsel type lawyer are like "jack of all trades master of none." When dealing with the law you should want the master because if the other person (prosecutor or other party) has the master and you don't, you will most likely lose.

A Florida Lawyer Gets Honored By the State Bar

Florida Lawyer

The Florida State Bar, which oversees and regulates every Florida Lawyer, also honors them when necessary. Yesterday, the state bar honored a Sarasota lawyer for his work on behalf of poor and indigent clients.

Morgan Ray Bentley was only one of twenty-one lawyers recognized for their pro bono work. Mr. Bently, who deals primarily in the areas of business and real estate litigation, is also a volunteer attorney with the Legal Aid department of Manasota. He has been volunteering there since 1992.

Mr. Bentley is a partner in the Sarasota law firm of Williams, Parker, Harrison, Dietz and Getzen. His company obviously approves of his pro bono work.
